About me 👩‍💻

I write quippy copy, foster community, and share my passion for pop culture, the arts, and current events for a living. How lucky am I?

I’m a social media professional with over a decade of experience crafting social strategies, developing brand guidelines and editorial voice, and translating data points into actionable direction. My expertise also extends into social media crisis communications, press relations, and email marketing.

I grew up in San Diego, California, and received a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University in Art History and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. After college, I spent four years in Houston, Texas, during which time I ran social media for the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, and then the Menil Collection. In January 2020 I moved to New York City (talk about timing) to join the Whitney Museum of American Art as Social Media Manager and was later promoted to Senior Social Media Manager. In addition to my social media duties, I managed the Imaging Rights Manager, who oversaw artwork image rights and reproductions.

In 2026, I established my own consulting business with Alison Roman’s First Bloom Corner Store and A Very Good Tomato Sauce as well as the Whitney Museum of American Art as my principal clients.
